Introduction

Stephen McCann is the Managing Director of PERSES Group and has extensive experience in the fields of demolition, decommissioning, and health and safety. Throughout his 28 years of involvement in this sector, Stephen has been involved in some of the largest and most complicated demolition and decommissioning projects in the UK. Due to his unwavering commitment to realise the group’s ambition to shape a safer and more sustainable world from the end-of-life side of the built environment, his contribution to the industry has not been limited to devising bespoke solutions to our clients, but also to be associated in authoring/co-authoring numerous National Demolition Training Group courses and Guidance Notes and research for the National Federations of Demolition Engineers and the Institute of Demolition Engineers. In addition to that, Stephen teaches and manages the Demolition Management degrees in collaboration with the Institute of Demolition Engineers and Wolverhampton University.

Stephen oversees the business operations and provides guidance and support to ensure the group is consistently driving towards fulfilling the short-term and long-term objectives of the company, and is unrelentingly driving for improvement and change for the better.
