Introduction
Yazan Osaily joined PERSES Group as the Head of Research & Development in November 2020 after he completed his PhD in Civil Engineering, specialised in Demolition Project Management from the University of Bath. His role in PERSES includes writing research for the demolition industry, developing new courses, providing environmental and circularity advise for our clients, preparing the pertinent documentations for our projects, and teaching on behalf of PERSES for the Demolition Management degree, both Foundation and Master levels, in collaboration with the Institute of Demolition Engineers and Wolverhampton University.
Yazan’s research skills are paramount for the advancement of our industry. He is currently authoring and associated in publishing many academic and industrial research papers on various subjects of demolition. His previous conference paper entitled “Exploring
the Value of Demolition Contractor Involvement at the Design Stage of Construction” won the best paper award for the category of Construction Transformation at ARCOM conference.
