Non-Licensable Work With Asbestos Including Refresher

This course is the refresher of the full Non-Licensable work with asbestos including NNLW course. The content of this course will vary and is based on a pre-course training needs analysis and will be delivered bespoke to the required needs of those present on the day. Only persons holding a valid, in date certificate are able to attend a refresher.

Non-Licensable Work With Asbestos Including NNLW

This course is designed to provide delegates with the required skills to work with asbestos containing materials which are classified as non-licensable work.The training includes removal works, decontamination, and personal protective equipment. All training is carried out in full compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulation 2012 and HSG 210. UKATA certificated asbestos awareness training is required to be within 6-months of the start date of this course. Should the asbestos awareness training fall outside of this time frame, then retraining will be required.

Asbestos Awareness

The course is designed to provide delegates with a general understanding of asbestos containing materials, types, health issues and where they can be found within buildings.Delegates will have an understanding of the correct reporting and management systems to be in place when working in areas where asbestos may be present.It should be noted that this course does not allow delegates to work with asbestos and is however a prerequisite for the Non-Licensable work with asbestos including NNLW (formally Category-B) course.

CCDO Demolition Manager Refresher Course

This course is designed for delegates who currently hold a Demolition Manager card, have achieved the appropriate National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q), and whose card is due for renewal or within two years of the expiry date. This course is based on a pre-course training needs analysis and will be delivered bespoke to the required needs of those present on the day.Application for the card will require a valid approved asbestos awareness and the appropriate valid touch screen test pass certificate.

CCDO Demolition Manager  Course

This course is designed for the delegates wishing to gain the C.C.D.O Demolition Manager qualification. The course, running over five full days covers a wide range of modules from temporary works to demolition techniques, from structural awareness to crisis management and comprises of open discussions, workshops and case studies. This will give the knowledge required to pass the final test which will allow the successful delegates to apply for the red temporary card.The red card is not renewable and requires the delegates to complete an appropriate National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q) Certificate within a 2-year period before the full Black card can applied for.Application for the card will require a valid approved asbestos awareness and the appropriate valid touch screen test pass certificate.

CCDO 5-day Demolition Supervisor Course

This course is designed for the delegates wishing to gain the C.C.D.O Demolition Manager qualification. The course, running over five full days covers a wide range of modules from temporary works to demolition techniques, from structural awareness to crisis management and comprises of open discussions, workshops and case studies. This will give the knowledge required to pass the final test which will allow the successful delegates to apply for the red temporary card.The red card is not renewable and requires the delegates to complete an appropriate National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q) Certificate within a 2-year period before the full Black card can applied for.Application for the card will require a valid approved asbestos awareness and the appropriate valid touch screen test pass certificate.

CCDO 2-day Demolition Chargehand Course

This course is designed for the delegates wishing to gain the Demolition Chargehand qualification. Running over two full days the course covers a wide range of modules from temporary works to resource planning, from conducting risk assessments to task briefings and comprises of workshops and a case study.This course will give the knowledge required to pass the final test which will allow the successful delegates to apply for the red temporary card. The red card is not renewable and requires the delegates to complete an appropriate National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q) Certificate within a 2-year period before the full Silver card can applied for. Application for the card will require a valid approved asbestos awareness and the appropriate valid touch screen test pass certificate.

CCDO Demolition and Refurbishment Operative (DRO) Course

This course is designed to provide the knowledge to work as an operative on an active demolition site. The course will give the knowledge required to pass the final test which will allow the successful delegates to apply for the red temporary card.The red card is not renewable and requires the delegates to complete an appropriate National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q) Certificate within a 2-year period before the full Blue card can applied for.Application for the card will require a valid approved asbestos awareness and the appropriate valid touch screen test pass certificate.

CCDO 5-day Demolition Supervisor Refresher Course

This course is designed for delegates who currently hold a Demolition Supervisor card, have achieved the appropriate National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q), and whose card is due for renewal or within two years of the expiry date. This course is based on a pre-course training needs analysis and will be delivered bespoke to the required needs of those present on the day. Application for the card will require a valid approved asbestos awareness and the appropriate valid touch screen test pass certificate.

Fire Marshal Training

This one-day course is designed to for delegates who will take on the duties of a fire marshal. Delegates will learn, among other things: fire dynamics, fire risk assessments, fire extinguishers and correct selection. During the practical session delegates will be required to select the correct extinguisher for a variety of fires in controlled conditions within the training area.

Traffic Marshal Training

This one-day course is designed to for delegates who will take on the duties of a traffic marshal. Delegates will learn, among other things: safe positioning, pedestrian routes, working safely around plant and vehicles, personal protective equipment, hand signals, traffic routes, speed restrictions, and signs and regulations. During the practical session delegates will be required to complete a site-based traffic management plan.

Safe Use of Oxygen/Fuel Basic Cutting Course

This one-day course is designed to for delegates who are required to use oxygen and propane cutting equipment as part of their work. Delegates will learn, among other things: types of equipment, safety control measures, personal protective equipment, specialist fire extinguishers and correct selection.

Abrasive Wheels

This half-day course is designed to for delegates who are required to mount abrasive wheels as part of their work.Delegates will learn typical hazards (such as vibration and sound), how to mount an abrasive wheel, and safety measures.

CDM Awareness

The course is designed to give an overview of all the duty holder roles and legal duties under current legislation. You will learn about your contractor responsibilities under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.
