A professionally qualified and experienced manager with 30-plus years of demolition & construction experience.
Practically experienced in all aspects of demolition processes, including most types of demolition methods from Top-Down Demolition, façade retention, and enabling works to the selection and use of plant and demolition equipment including remote and intrinsically safe.
As part of previous roles I have experience in coordination and monitoring the progress of multi-activity sites, reviewing Contract documentation, Risk Assessments & Method Statements, liaising with structural engineers in the implementing of designs for temporary works and enabling works, attending pre-and post-contract meetings, project progress meetings and the management of specialist sub-contractors to include asbestos contractor’s, hazardous waste contractors, scaffolding contractor’s and hoarding contractors and transportation providers.
I am a Member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers and BOHS P402 Asbestos Surveyor.
I understand that a business's core asset is the people, I’m able to communicate at all levels to achieve the best results from individuals and recognise that staff investment is key to the business's success as well as a consistent approach to project delivery, business development and management of costs.
